Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising manufacturing processes, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively promote a culture of safety and ensure operational and asset risks are appropriately assessed.
  • Implement critical safety processes and protocols, including permitting, isolations, management of change, and safety-critical overrides.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards and process safety regulations.
Operational Excellence
  • Create, maintain, and ensure accessibility of unambiguous procedures for start-up, normal operation, abnormal situations, and emergencies.
  • Manage operational resources to support the delivery of various projects and maintenance activities within the asset.
  • Review alarm rates regularly and identify bad actors that require remediation.
Asset Management
  • Plan and execute all operational activities that support broader asset management strategies.
  • Support the development and management of asset capital and operational budgets.
  • Maintain HSSE critical equipment lists and define integrity operating windows for all static and rotating equipment.
Collaboration and Problem Solving
  • C coordinate and collaborate with teams across the refinery to address challenges and implement improvements.
  • Apply technical skills to troubleshoot operational problems and investigate process plant incidents.
Requirements
  • Able to plan and manage time, work to deadlines, and changing priorities.
  • Excellent communicator and problem solver.
  • Comfortable making decisions and using judgement to find solutions.
  • Be fully compliant with safety and willing to stop and seek help if work cannot be performed safely.
  • Operational, maintenance, trade, or engineering background preferred.
  • Experienced in a relevant industry preferably Oil & Gas, industrial, Mining or Power Generation.
