Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Settlement Worker to join our team. This rewarding role involves equipping eligible clients with the tools they need to address their settlement needs and improve social participation, economic well-being, independence, personal well-being, and community connectedness.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Employ a strength-based, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach to promote self-efficiency and agency among clients.
  2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mainstream service providers, referral processes, relevant legislation, and frameworks.
  3. Deliver high-quality case management services (high, medium, and low intensity) tailored to individual client needs.
  4. Identify and meet community needs through groupwork initiatives that promote collective growth and development.
  5. Ensure the quality and safety of service delivery while contributing to continuous improvement activities that enhance best practice.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work or other relevant human/social sciences and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in casework/case management, conducting needs assessments, developing and reviewing case plans, providing information, referral, advice, and case co-ordination.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with individuals, communities, and key stakeholders.
  • National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and current driver's licence.
  • Evidence of current flu vaccination and COVID-19.
