About the Role

The Bayside Group is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Stormwater Drainage and Design Specialist. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for designing and developing stormwater drainage systems, including detention systems, basement drainage, and pavement design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop stormwater drainage systems for residential, industrial, and commercial projects, including detention systems and basement drainage.
  • Prepare detailed drawings for paving and drainage, car parks, and access paths using AutoCAD.
  • Design and develop pavement and car park systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and liaise with local authorities to obtain design and permit approvals.
  • Prepare technical reports and specifications for stormwater drainage systems.
  • Liaise with builders and fellow engineers to provide workable solutions and ensure project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Local and proven experience as a Civil Engineer in an engineering consultancy environment.
  • Experience in preparing detailed design and documentation of roads, intersections, pavements, earthworks, and stormwater drainage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, working autonomously.
  • Understanding of local government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of CIVIL 3D is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
