About the Role
Servicing both public and private sector projects, this business is carving a name for themselves in the Water treatment plant and Substations market in Victoria. Headed up by a Director with a background in the upper-tier Civil Construction utilities sector, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic Project Engineer due to an internal promotion of an existing engineer into a Project Manager role. If you are an engineer in the upper-tier sector and have hit a ceiling of growth and responsibility, this opportunity will suit you.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within the project team reporting to the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
- Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements
- Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and quality control
- Cost analysis, reporting, and forecasting (highly valued)
- Communicating with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities
- Manage the subcontractor's progress
- Planning and project programming
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience working on civil construction projects in Australia in a similar role
- Proven experience delivering in-ground electrical works, detailed earthwork, sewer and drainage, FRP / Concrete works
- A degree in Construction / Engineering
- Excellent time management skills
- Appropriate IT skills
