Audit and Assurance Advisor Role:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our high-performing team at Sydney Metro. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working in complex health and safety environments, excellent stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

The successful applicant will play a key role in executing the Annual Health and Safety Audit and Assurance Plan, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, providing accurate insights to support governance and decision-making across all Health & Safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining project health and safety performance, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements and obligations.
  • Providing key insights on audit and assurance data to senior management.
  • Assisting the risk and assurance team in monitoring trends and generating planned and ad-hoc reports.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety (Cert IV or above) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety management systems and risk-based auditing.
  • Experience in data analysis and trend reporting related to health and safety.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and analytics tools.
