Key Responsibilities

This role involves:

  1. Delivering an annual audit plan, including site and systems audits.
  2. Collaborating with a team to achieve high-performing results.

The primary objective is to support the delivery of Internal Audit objectives:

  1. Reporting to a manager, supporting the delivery of IA objectives.
  2. Providing independent assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve operations.
  3. Evaluating and testing the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
  4. Supporting management in delivering the annual audit plan and providing coaching to team members.
  5. Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and workers' compensation self-insurance licence requirements.

This role also involves developing, planning, and managing a Safety Assurance Program.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
