Supporting Student Success: Special Education Paraeducator

This paraeducator position provides individualized support to students with unique educational needs in a dynamic and adaptive learning environment.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Assist students in their academic and personal growth by providing tailored instructional support and promoting a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective instructional strategies that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Provide guidance and support to students during teacher absences and contribute to maintaining a seamless learning experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with coursework in education-related fields such as special education or instructional strategies; one year of experience working with students in structured educational settings is also desirable.
- At least 48 college credits and two years of experience in a related setting (e.g., daycare, pre-school) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- A successful ParaPro Assessment with a qualifying score of 455+ is required for this position.
