Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Cost Planner to drive change within the construction industry through technology, people, and supply chain.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed cost plans for tenders, leveraging market insights and knowledge of subcontractor trade markets
  • Build strategic relationships with clients and quantity surveyors to identify future work opportunities and develop a pipeline
  • Provide high-level cost planning advice to potential clients, highlighting key drivers of project costs and value
  • Evaluate preliminary estimates and forecasts against construction programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Oversee the request for tenders process, securing suitable trade coverage for each tender
  • Analyze and provide statistical breakdowns of trade coverage, risk, and opportunities for each tender
  • Coordinate and manage tender submissions and returnable schedules, meeting tight deadlines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
  • At least 10 years of post-graduate experience working as a Senior Cost Planner for a Tier 1/2 contractor
  • Proven track record of delivering successful tenders within the building sector across NSW
  • A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
