Key Position: Financial Partner

This esteemed position entails collaboration with editorial leaders to provide insightful financial data, thus ensuring fiscal discipline and prudent resource allocation.

A vital aspect of this role involves strategic cost management, encompassing both staff and content-related expenditures. Effective leadership is also required for budgeting and forecasting processes to align with the company's overarching objectives.

In addition to these responsibilities, providing expert analysis on financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for growth and savings will be a key competency. This includes developing workforce planning strategies and initiatives, as well as furnishing daily customer insights and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in finance or commercial accounting, complemented by relevant qualifications such as a degree or CA/CPA certification.
  • Strong business partnering skills, enabling effective communication and trust-building among non-finance teams.
  • Expertise in core financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in CRM platforms, dialer systems, or call recording tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills, coupled with keen analytical abilities.
  • Proactive team player with the capacity to think creatively and drive results.
