About the RoleWe are seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utility industry protocols, standards (e.g., ANSI, IEC), and regulations. They will also have experience with utility-specific software platforms and tools for asset management, customer information systems (CIS), or geographic information systems (GIS).
Key Responsibilities- Analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements for utility solutions.
- Design and architect comprehensive solutions that integrate various technologies, including grid modernization, renewable energy integration, smart grid technologies, and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI).
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture within the utility sector.
- Proven experience designing and implementing solutions for electric, gas, or water utilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
