Job Description

The role of Environmental Health and Safety Specialist is an exceptional opportunity to utilize your expertise in hazardous chemical/occupational hygiene, as well as your comprehensive knowledge of EHS generalist and interpersonal skills.

You will be accountable for assisting to maintain the aircraft related hazardous chemicals register, supporting our EHS Management System and delivering EHS guidance and support to a range of stakeholders.

  • Formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety, occupational hygiene or science are required.
  • A sound understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation, risk management and principles and practices are essential.
  • Three years of experience in a similar role, ideally having experience with hazardous chemical registers, is highly desirable.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements and be able to obtain security clearances as a key requirement of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Work Health and Safety qualifications.
  • Occupational Hygiene or Science background.
  • Strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation.
