We are seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our Residential Aged Care team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents and staff.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Learning and Development Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate learning solutions that align with the strategic goals and operational needs of our Residential Aged Care team. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and address learning gaps, improve performance, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver learning packages aligned to business objectives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess learning requirements
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to ensure impactful learning experiences
  • Facilitate On The Job learning support
  • Analyse and report on evaluations linked to learning objectives to ensure learning has been effectively transferred to attendees

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and facilitating engaging and effective learning programs for a variety of audiences and modalities, preferably within aged or community care settings
  • Strong knowledge of learning theories, instructional design principles, and evaluation methods
  • Experience in customer service and soft skills training delivery

About You:

We are looking for someone who has previously worked in a clinical role and has a current AHPRA registration (nursing). You should be a strong communicator with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for supporting the learning and development of others.
