About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing all new projects, delivering reactive and life cycle projects in line with client requests and agreed programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Prepare specifications and drawings for works to meet the customer's requirements, obtain quotes from contractors, and ensure all budgets and fees are agreed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work is in line with CDM/Planning/Building Control regulations, obtain Landlords Consent in advance of works, and engage with architects and planners.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets and validate/approve contractors and consultants invoices.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure minimum disruption during the works, ensure all risk assessments and method statements are in place, and manage ongoing Health and Safety.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and contractors, and travel regularly for site visits.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience of project management on a variety of property projects, with evidence of having effectively delivered projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of Building Regulations/Planning/CDM, and ability to plan and manage own workload to achieve deadlines.
  • Skills: I.T. literate and proficient on Microsoft Office packages, including Microsoft Vision. Ideally, your experience will be from a Facilities Management, Surveying, or Construction Project Management background.
  • Qualifications: HNC/HND in an appropriate discipline, IOSH Managing Safely, Trade or Building Services Design qualifications, and NVQ level 3 Management or equivalent.
