Business Development Executive

Establishing a pipeline of lucrative opportunities is pivotal to success as a Business Development Manager. Securing these prospects and forging early connections with clients in the BFSI sector within Australia and New Zealand requires adept relationship-building skills.

You will engage with senior business and technology stakeholders, utilising a consultative selling approach to maximise customer outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Hunting and converting new FSI target accounts in Aus/NZ, fostering long-term value-based relationships.
  • Credentialising the company in Financial Services, Aus/NZ, through executive-level industry contacts, a strong understanding of the Financial Services Domain, and current knowledge of industry challenges and opportunities.
  • Ensuring the creation and execution of pursuit strategies, building value-aligned propositions at both the company and individual levels with clients.
  • Approaching client executives as true business partners, expanding engagement to encompass capabilities.
Requirements
  • 15+ years experience in selling into large Financial Services, with 5+ years in Australia, and a strong network of senior executive contacts.
  • Proven track record of landing big deals ($20m+) and successfully building and growing client relationships.
  • Ability to develop a territory plan that brings together an understanding of the industry, prioritised targets, and c-level connects with our value proposition and Vertical strategy.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills to construct multi-year deals.
  • Adept at consultative selling to shape and deliver transformative outcomes.
