About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Systems Coordinator to join our team at Real Pet Food Co. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and the sustainability of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain efficient Health and Safety systems and procedures to guide staff on best practice management
  • Review relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry best practice to ensure our Health and Safety systems continuously improve
  • Support the implementation of a Health and Safety audit program
  • Manage Health and Safety data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Ensure relevant Health and Safety information and tools are accessible and maintained in self-service channels to drive employee and manager self-sufficiency
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with business managers and staff to promote Health and Safety ways of working and encourage participation in the process
What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise, and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders on safety issues
  • Sound understanding of innovative and contemporary safety management approaches
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of safety management systems
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and implementation of safety management IT systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
