Psychiatry Career Opportunity

We are seeking medical professionals to fill a Consultant Psychiatrist position in Newcastle, Australia.

The successful applicant will be part of a supportive and cohesive team, providing high-quality clinical care to patients while contributing to the development of psychiatric services and mentoring junior colleagues.

This opportunity is available in various settings, including general adult psychiatry, old age psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, rehabilitation, and forensic services. Leadership roles may also be available.

Requirements
  • A specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia or eligibility for registration
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent overseas qualification
