**Clinical Care Specialist in Psychiatry (Forensics)**
The role of the Clinical Care Specialist in Psychiatry (Forensics) is to provide high-quality patient care services in the JHFMHN. This includes patients in Forensic and Long Bay Hospitals, Silverwater Correctional Complex, Court Liaison, Community Forensic Mental Health Services, Adolescent Health Services, and Medium Secure Units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care services to patients under the supervision of a nominated consultant psychiatrist as per RANZCP requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- A minimum of two years' post-graduate experience in psychiatry in an approved hospital or area health service.
- Completion of all Stage 2 RANZCP training requirements and currently in or eligible for Stage 3 RANZCP training.
- Residency status within Australia or eligibility for a current working visa.
- Valid driver's license for driving in NSW.
