Facilities Design Lead

 

Overview of Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Design Lead will work within a Defence program of work. Their key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Facilities tasks within the program.
  • Reporting on and providing advice to the Senior Leadership Team on Facilities.
  • Reporting on the identification, assessment and control of risks.
  • Conducting and attending weekly meetings both internal and external.

 

Key Qualifications and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, candidates will require:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the Defence Industry and a strong understanding of internal workings of Facilities.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in Facilities and working accommodation areas.
  • Experience managing and maintaining large enterprise datacentres.
  • Experience configuring and administering datacentre electronic and physical security systems.
  • Experience in managing and authoring datacentre documentation suites.
  • Experience in installing and configuring enterprise monitoring and DCIM tools.
  • Experience designing and managing passive cabling infrastructure within a data-hall and between geographically separated sites.
  • Experience designing and documenting data-hall rack layouts including active and passive infrastructure.
