Key Opportunity

This permanent, full-time position is based at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

About the Role
  • Administrative tasks to support tradespersons and Defence personnel are performed using SAP-based systems.
  • Daily workshop operations are supported by ensuring smooth workflow and accurate documentation of work packages.
  • Inventory records are managed, requisitions are prepared, and repair parts for ADF fleets are expedited.
  • Maintenance activities are planned and scheduled, including work order management and Commonwealth Supply Customer Accounts (SCAs).
  • Written work schedules aligned with ADF priorities are prepared, and Commonwealth systems are maintained.
  • Site maintenance, subcontractor access, housekeeping, and consumables replenishment are coordinated.
About You
  • Administrative experience in a workshop environment with knowledge of workshop flows, Hazchem, and OHS standards is required.
  • Proficiency in SAP for maintenance and procurement, as well as Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills are necessary.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and scheduling are essential.
  • Initiative, integrity, accountability, and a proactive, can-do attitude are demonstrated.
  • Effective team players with the ability to motivate and support others are required.

Eligibility to hold a Defence Security Clearance is mandatory. As a result of this requirement, applicants must be Australian Citizens.
