Job Overview

At our depot, we have a vacancy for a skilled Waste Management Professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and looking to make a meaningful contribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations during morning shifts, ensuring compliance with the Traffic Management Plan (TMP).
  • Operate heavy equipment such as telehandlers to handle loose materials efficiently and safely.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on telehandlers, including washing, greasing, and refueling.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the yard and shed to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Assist in supervising contractors on-site during their work activities.
  • Support operational logistics such as Pantech loading and bin disposal.
  • Complete pre- and post-operation checks along with any other necessary paperwork.
About You
  • Previous experience in waste management or a related industry is highly valued.
  • A valid forklift licence or loader operation certification would be advantageous.
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
