As a Paralegal in our Family Law division, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to lawyers and clients alike.

This challenging role requires a professional with 3+ years of experience in a Paralegal position, preferably within the Family Law environment. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, and commonwealth courts portal and family law systems.

The primary duties include:

  • Communicating effectively with clients and lawyers
  • Taking instruction and providing administrative support to lawyers
  • Drafting court documents and other legal papers
  • Assisting on lawyer's files and managing workflow to ensure deadlines are met
  • E-filing, typing, and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring company databases and client details are up-to-date
  • Time recording and assisting with billing processes
  • Liaising with external parties as required

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Paralegal
  • Prior experience within a Family Law setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Proficiency in FilePro or similar legal matter management systems
  • Able to handle confidential information professionally and maintain discretion
