We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team as a Field Service Technician and Workshop Fitter.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of mining equipment and hydraulics specialist, supplying the mining industry for over 40 years.

With an increase in new contracts, we need to employ additional staff to meet our growing demands.

Job Summary:

- Full-time position available

- Competitive hourly rate + vehicle allowance

- Monday - Friday 7am-3:00pm, overtime available

- Multiple opportunities available - Field Service Tech, Maintenance Fitters

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending breakdowns, servicing and on-site maintenance
  • Diagnosing technical issues on a range of mining equipment
  • Preventative Maintenance and rebuilds
  • Repair and installation of fluid and hydraulic systems
  • Assembly and fit-out of heavy vehicles
  • Site-specific modifications to machinery
  • OEM maintenance and warranty repairs
  • Planning & scheduling
  • Fault finding/electrical repairs

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification
  • Previous experience in Field Service or Workshop environment (ideal)
  • Experience in servicing, repairing and maintaining heavy machinery and service vehicles
