Health and Safety Support Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Health and Security Assistant to join our team at NSW Health.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Health and Security Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This includes undertaking cleaning duties, reporting any damage, and emptying and replacing soiled linen. You will also provide patient-focused care, such as assisting with personal hygiene and mobility, and reporting any observations or concerns about the patient.
Security Duties:
You will be required to undertake security duties as directed, including preventative and responsive security actions to ensure a secure and safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a current Class 1A NSW Security Licence, a current First Aid Certificate, and a current valid Class C Driver's Licence. You will also need to have a Working With Children Check and meet the applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
