We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant/Habit Coach to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enabling participants to develop greater independence and work towards reaching their full potential.
You will work under the guidance of highly qualified Allied Health professionals, carrying out duties that complement the therapy program of a participant. This includes working face-to-face and non-face-to-face with participants to bring life-changing experiences to them.
As a Habit Coach, you will be a critical part of the service delivery between the participant and the therapist. Using your empathetic nature, you will engage the participant to model components of a new routine or skill, and provide prompting when needed.
This role is a permanent part-time position, working 24 hours per week across four days. You will have flexibility and control over your working hours to ensure a true work-life balance.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and respect scope of practice boundaries
- Consistently maintaining clear focus on the goals and outcomes of our participants
- Self-motivation and reliability
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid drivers' license and access to your own vehicle
