Role Overview

This position provides case management services to children and young people with high and complex needs through a therapeutic program in protective placements. As a Case Manager, you will work within a therapeutic model of care to provide support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management support to children and young people with high and complex needs.
  • Supervise caregivers and conduct caregiver assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Contribute to service development and uphold best practice in Occupational Health and Safety.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, community services or equivalent is required.
  • You will need to have sound professional knowledge of trauma, attachment and integrated trauma-informed practice.
  • Experience in child welfare practice and understanding of meeting children's developmental needs is essential.
  • You must also have knowledge of child safe principles and standards.
  • Professional casework skills including knowledge of LAC and CRISSP/CRIS are necessary.
  • The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting is also required.
