About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Engineer to lead our water and wastewater engineering projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of municipal water and wastewater engineering projects, collaborating with colleagues and clients to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in water and wastewater system design, construction documents development, project management, and technical task support or leadership. A strong background in civil or environmental engineering, along with a valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, is required. Proficiency in relevant software, modeling tools, and equipment used in municipal water/wastewater engineering is essential.

We value candidates who can effectively communicate complex technical ideas through clear written and verbal communication. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are also essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to define project requirements and goals.
  2. Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop innovative infrastructure solutions.
  4. Lead and contribute to various municipal water and wastewater engineering projects, including planning, design, and construction phases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in one or more states where we operate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in water and wastewater system design.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop construction documents, manage technical tasks, and support or lead projects through all phases.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, modeling tools, and equipment used in municipal water/wastewater engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
