Job Opportunity: Water Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Resources Specialist to join our team in Melbourne.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing technical guidance and assistance with complex water management projects, including non-Newtonian dam break assessments and rainfall, flow, and flood assessments.
  • They will also be responsible for conducting hydraulic and probabilistic water balance models to assess surface water/runoff flows, peak flows, and flood risk.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in hydrology or related discipline.
  • Proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS suite) applications and hydraulic, flood modelling software (e.g. HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, and MIKE).
  • EA Chartered Engineer or close to achieving.
