Transformation Delivery Manager
About the Organization
At Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ), we are committed to fostering a future where individuals and communities prosper, united by a shared mission: to enhance the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our vast customer base.
About the Position
Within the Australia Commercial sector, our ambition is to become the premier bank for small to medium-sized enterprises in Australia seeking to initiate, operate, or expand their businesses. Through our Commercial strategy, we are channeling investments into key segments, streamlining operations, enhancing banker capabilities, and establishing a top-tier broker offering.
The Transformation Delivery Manager plays a pivotal leadership role within the change management division of the Australia Commercial Strategy & Transformation team, reporting directly to the Change Transformation Lead.
This role entails supporting the Transformation Change Lead and collaborating closely with project change managers to ensure effective oversight of change delivery. The Transformation Delivery Manager is responsible for fostering consistency and enhancing the effectiveness of change planning and execution across Australia Commercial. This position includes managing two direct reports (change managers), developing and maintaining a comprehensive overview of change impacts, and creating an integrated change delivery plan aligned with the Australia Commercial strategy. Additionally, the role involves providing change management guidance to initiative owners, enhancing capabilities, and optimizing change templates and tools to ensure consistency, value realization, and an improved experience for bankers and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Transformation Delivery Manager, your daily tasks will include:
- Building and maintaining a comprehensive overview of change impacts across strategic initiatives within Australia Commercial.
- Creating and managing an integrated change plan for strategic initiatives.
- Developing and overseeing the Banker Experience roadmap for affected teams and roles, a crucial change artifact.
- Supervising two direct reports (change managers).
- Implementing and monitoring change effectiveness through a governance and reporting framework, including success metrics and processes.
- Collaborating with team change managers to continuously enhance the suite of change artifacts and templates for use across all strategic initiatives, ensuring clarity, consistency, and effective change delivery.
- Providing change management advice and support to strategic initiatives lacking dedicated change management expertise, including reviewing and approving necessary change management artifacts.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should ideally possess the following:
- A relevant qualification in change management.
- Extensive experience in delivering change management on projects, preferably at the program level.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis, define business requirements, perform impact assessments, and develop change interventions based on identified impacts.
- Experience in managing teams and fostering their growth through coaching and sharing expertise.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- A willingness to challenge existing practices and explore innovative change approaches to achieve business objectives.
- A process-oriented mindset with a keen attention to detail.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong facilitation and presentation abilities to influence outcomes.
- A collaborative spirit, enjoying teamwork, sharing ideas, and supporting colleagues.
At ANZ, we embrace a growth mindset, and while you may not possess all of these skills, we encourage you to apply if you have a majority of them.
