About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims and Litigation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of liability and casualty claims, providing expert advice to clients, and working closely with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of liability and casualty claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes
  • Provide expert advice to clients on personal injury law and related matters
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation and case law, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in defendant litigation, with a focus on liability and casualty claims
  • Strong knowledge of Australian personal injury law and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting deadlines and priorities
