Senior Financial Risk Management Position

This is a leadership role that involves overseeing financial risk management, ensuring high standards of professional credit and portfolio health. The successful candidate will have expertise in credit analytics, policy, and decisioning models.

  • Lead the management of core financial risk, maintaining high levels of credit standards and portfolio health
  • Drive strategic decisions to balance risk and reward, aligning with organisational objectives
  • Oversee risk-related activities, including processes optimisation, input into policy development, and engagement with various teams within the second line of defence
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, such as RBNZ and APRA prudential standards
  • Identify economic trends to inform credit settings and policies

  • Proven experience in leading organisational change and inspiring teams
  • Formulate growth-oriented strategies based on sector experience
  • Utilise expertise in credit analytics, policy and decisioning models
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, regulation, and global best practices in financial risk management
