About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Café Attendant. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and collaboratively with colleagues
  • Perform basic food preparation tasks, such as making sandwiches and salads
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing workstations and food court areas

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a fast-paced café setting
  • Barista experience desirable
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required
  • Ability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster
  • Cash handling experience
