Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team in Tasmania. This is a fixed-term contract role until May 2025, and the successful candidate must reside in Tasmania.

About the Role:

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Management Office in delivering a master project consisting of multiple TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines installations throughout Tasmania. The role involves creating, maintaining, and updating project documentation, monitoring progress, coordinating communications, and assessing proposed sites for safety and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create project reports and complete relevant documents for installation processes
  • Conduct site visits/audits to assess suitability of leads received from the Sales Team and advise what is required to enable installation
  • Ensure all site proposals, audit packs, and site packs are circulated and reviewed in a timely manner, while providing feedback to the wider project installation team
  • Collate project documentation, including site plans, scope of works briefs, safety documents, and inductions
  • Coordinate project updates to the wider project team
  • Manage contractors to ensure they work safely, efficiently, and within budget
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction or property development industries
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and MS Project
  • Valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Location:

This role requires travel across Tasmania and residency in Tasmania is mandatory.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
