About the Role

TOMRA is a pioneer in the field of reverse vending technology, and we're currently seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in Tasmania.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Management Office in delivering a master project consisting of multiple short programs and quick turn-around projects. Your primary responsibilities will include creating, maintaining, and updating project documentation, monitoring project progress, and coordinating communications with the wider project team.

Key elements of this role include stakeholder management, site assessment, and contractor management. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance requirements are met and that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Management Office in delivering a master project
  • Manage project documentation, including site plans, scope of works briefs, and safety documents
  • Coordinate communications with the wider project team
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Manage contractors and vendors
  • Perform additional tasks as reasonably requested by the PMO

Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction or property development industries
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or a similar discipline
  • A valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Attention to detail to monitor and control project variables
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines
