We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Docking Operations Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in shipwright, vessel docking, or marine trades, with a strong background in managing projects from scope development through to execution.

Key responsibilities will include applying shipwright expertise to vessel maintenance and repair projects, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.

Liaising with vessel crews, directing schedule management and cost control for dockings, and approving invoice claims will also be key aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Certificate III Trade qualification (Shipwright or related) and relevant licences, as well as extensive maritime experience in a senior or leadership role.

Demonstrated knowledge of RAN operations and asset maintenance practices, competence in MS Office and Asset Management Systems, and ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively are also essential requirements.

This is a position of trust and responsibility that requires a thorough probity assessment, including a national police check, as an essential part of the selection process.
