Kitchen Team Member OpportunityThe Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Hand/Food Services Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the support services team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality meals that contribute to the health and happiness of our residents.Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks
  • Distribution of meals to residents, assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
  • Dining room services
  • Providing excellent personalised service to our residents
  • Ensure duties are performed in accordance with Infection Control and Food Safety Handling Standards
  • Ensure a high standard and quality of cleanliness throughout the organisation.
  • Clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment.
Requirements:
  • Trade certification or qualifications and/or experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Currently hold and maintain a NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes is highly regarded but not essential
