About the Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Health Promotion Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a real impact in improving population health across the Nepean, Hawkesbury, and Blue Mountains region.

The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in health promotion, population health, education, communication, marketing, allied health or other relevant field and/or experience. They will also possess high level project management skills, including demonstrated ability to plan, implement, evaluate, and disseminate a population health project and report on project outcomes.

This role will involve working effectively across a range of alcohol and other drug health promotion issues, particularly with members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and disadvantaged groups. You will establish and maintain strategic partnerships with government and business organisations and agencies, and facilitate collaborative action.

You will contribute to priority programs that reflect the goals and principles of the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. Our team respects the client's right to choose from a range of treatments offered with our services underpinned by a philosophy of harm reduction.
