  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Aboriginal concept of social and emotional wellbeing, understanding of Aboriginal family structure, culture and wisdom, and the practical and emotional issues when working with Aboriginal individuals with mental health concerns and their families.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the social, psychological and financial implications of hospitalisation for Aboriginal consumers.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles and application of child protection guidelines within NSW Health.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with capacity to plan and prioritise own workload.
