
Animal Welfare Customer Service Officer

We are seeking an administration and customer service professional to support our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for animal welfare.
">">Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service through telephone and face-to-face interactions
- Process Council animal impoundments, registrations, reclaims, surrenders, and compliance with Local Laws
- Maintain RSPCA Queensland and Council databases
- Coordinate and process animal adoptions, surrenders, requests for private euthanasia
- Assist with handling incoming stray animals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Administration and customer service background
- Sound knowledge of verbally and visually identifying and describing animals' body language
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good conflict resolution skills
- Passion for animals and commitment to achieving long-term goals of RSPCA Qld
- Organisational skills, time management, and ability to cope in high-pressure situations
