We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer. This individual will be responsible for implementing our organisational vision and goals, working closely with our Board and member services. Key duties include supporting the growth and development of our member Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, representing us in strategic forums, leading lobbying and advocacy efforts, and motivating and managing dedicated teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting the growth and development of our member ACCHSs
  • Representing us in strategic forums regionally and nationally
  • Leading lobbying and advocacy efforts to influence policy and improve broader health outcomes for Aboriginal people
  • Motivating and managing dedicated teams

The ideal candidate will possess senior management experience within an organisation servicing diverse stakeholders and a proven track record of cultural competence. A comprehensive understanding of Aboriginal health issues and policies, together with the ability to demonstrate strong evidence of collaboration and influence, is essential.
