Job Opportunity

The role of International Development Professional is ideal for individuals seeking to establish their career in international development. The position involves providing support across various functions, including financial, logistical, and capacity development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer technical assistance and coordination support as required
  • Maintain accurate records and data in SharePoint
  • Provide surge support during busy periods, undertaking tasks such as recruitment, procurement, due diligence reviews, contracting, logistics, and administration, as well as preparing payments for suppliers and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in an international development context
  • Demonstrated experience or interest in operations, administrative, and logistics support
  • High level of computing skills with experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively at various administrative and activity levels in a cross-cultural setting
  • Strong organizational skills, including planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining administrative systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
  • Familiarity with and commitment to safeguarding policies, including Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), Child Protection, PSEAH, prevention of human trafficking, environmental protection, anti-corruption, and other relevant DFAT policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in liaising with partners, stakeholders, and vendors, as well as supporting staff to build their capacity to work with information systems
  • Dynamic and flexible to adapt to changing priorities
