Job Summary

The Australian Federal Police is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join its Deployment Management and Training Team as a Team Member.

This team provides forward-looking human resource policies, strategies, and processes to best support employees operating internationally. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the International Pre-Deployment Briefing program, which prepares AFP members to deploy offshore.

As a member of this team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver quality service and professional practices and standards. You will also contribute to team outcomes, implement business improvements, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships.

We are looking for an individual who can adapt to a dynamic and complex environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and consistently deliver on objectives within agreed timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the International Pre-Deployment Briefing program to ensure AFP members are prepared for deployment overseas.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and professional practices that meet industry standards.
  • Contribute to team outcomes by implementing business improvements and establishing collaborative relationships with colleagues.
  • Adapt to a dynamic and complex environment, prioritizing tasks effectively and delivering results within agreed timeframes.
Essential Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship is essential for this role.
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications or extensive experience in a related field would be highly beneficial.
