Position: Backend Developer Intern

Business Web Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and talented Backend Developer Intern to join our team in Canberra, ACT. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or current student looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing company.

As a Backend Developer Intern, you will work closely with our experienced development team to design, develop, and maintain our web applications and services. You will have the opportunity to learn and work with a variety of technologies and frameworks, including but not limited to PHP, MySQL, Laravel, and AWS.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features for our web applications

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner

- Optimize application performance and scalability

- Contribute to code reviews and participate in team discussions

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and SQL

- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony

- Experience with database design and management

- Understanding of version control systems, such as Git

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Passion for learning and staying updated with new technologies
