The Opportunity- Draft, negotiate, and manage various commercial agreements, including contracts and contract variations.
- Provide advice to project managers and business stakeholders on subcontracting activities.
- Liaise with Legal, Functional, Engineering, and Commercial stakeholders.
- Develop procurement strategies and priorities through stakeholder relationships and program requirements.
- Prepare approach to market activities, analyze and evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate supplier deviations.
- Monitor and report subcontract cost, schedule, and status, recommending corrective action as necessary.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract law.
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in a contract management or legal role with exposure to procurement contract terms and conditions.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier management activities and sourcing activities.
- Desirable: Defence industry experience and tertiary education in Commerce, Law, or Business.
