Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled Commercial Agreement Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

  • The Commercial Agreement Specialist will be responsible for preparing, negotiating and managing commercial agreements including non-disclosure agreements, development, manufacturing and support services contracts and contract variations.
  • This role will also involve liaising with stakeholders and providing advice to project managers and business stakeholders.
  • Additionally, the Commercial Agreement Specialist will develop procurement strategies and priorities through stakeholder relationships and an understanding of program requirements.
  • This may include preparing approach to market activities (request for quotation), analysing and evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating supplier deviations to contract provisions and recommending final supplier selection.
  • The Commercial Agreement Specialist will also monitor and report contract cost, schedule and status and recommend or implement corrective action as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, development, manufacturing and support services contracts and contract variations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and provide advice to project managers and business stakeholders.
  • Develop procurement strategies and priorities through stakeholder relationships and an understanding of program requirements.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a contract management role with exposure to procurement contract terms and conditions is required.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract law are essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of supplier management and/or sourcing activities is desirable.
  • Tertiary education in commerce, law or business or relevant experience is preferred.
