Splunk/New Relic Support Specialist

Join our team and take on a challenging role as a Splunk/New Relic Support Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading Financial Services provider in their Sydney office.

  • About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled engineer with a proven background in monitoring and building dashboards using Splunk/New Relic. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex environments, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be part of a small, dynamic team supporting an internal Customer Loyalty Platform. Key responsibilities include:

  • Dashboard Development: Build and develop dashboards in Splunk/New Relic to provide real-time insights into customer activity.
  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor system performance and respond to incidents promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Platform Insights: Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Engage with other engineering squads to resolve integration issues and improve overall platform stability.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications (i.e., Splunk/New Relic)
  • Proven experience working with Splunk/New Relic including building complex dashboards and troubleshooting
  • Strong experience supporting large, customer-facing platforms
  • Understanding of ITIL practices including incident/problem/change processes combined with service management tools
  • Good working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS), containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), and API gateway tools
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
