Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and distribution team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to maximize productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring timely order fulfillment, stock accuracy, and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse and logistics personnel, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies such as Kanban to optimize workflow and minimize waste.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion workplace safety, ensuring compliance with WHS regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with operations, production, and sales teams to align warehouse and distribution goals with broader business objectives.
  • Manage staffing and resource allocation within budget while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Oversee stocktakes and inventory processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

About You:

  • Proven experience in supply chain, warehouse, distribution, and logistics management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on staff development.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanning, and MS Office (Excel & Word essential).
  • Experience in implementing and managing lean manufacturing principles such as Kanban.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
