The Client
EZ Petroleum Pty Ltd is a locally-owned BP Petrol station located in Liverpool in NSW. They require a full-time Retail Manager to join their team.

The Role

The Retail Manager is responsible for leading all operations and functions of the retail operations. This role will lead by example as you manage the team and assist to grow the business.

This is a full-time position with an annual salary set at $77,000 - $88,000 plus superannuation depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the overall image and standards of the store, including implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Fully accountable for all store operations criteria including food, rosters, budgeting and cash handling
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients and products are constantly replenished
  • Monitor and record incoming and outgoing business expenses
  • Ensure the store meets financial targets and stays within operational budgets
  • Supervise and ensure that all team members comply with BP\'s policies and standards
  • Ensure store and staff compliance with company and legislative employment, hygiene, health and safety requirements
  • Recruiting, training, and developing competent and exceptional team members in terms of operations and customer service
  • Implement seasonal marketing strategies to promote and boost sales of goods
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organisation
  • Conduct staff meetings
Requirements
  • A relevant AQF Diploma or Advanced Diploma in relevant field
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a retail outlet at a managerial level
  • Minimum of 12 months people management experience
  • Minimum of 12 months in managing inventory
  • Minimum of 12 months in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferences
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in using retail management systems
  • Strong operational management background
  • Ability to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitement
  • Passion for driving customer service
  • Good time management and attention to detail
