Behaviour Support Practitioner Role

We are expanding our Behaviour Support services and seeking experienced Behaviour Support Professionals to join us in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To assist NDIS participants, their families, and/or carers in identifying needs through comprehensive assessment and person-centred planning processes.
  • Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within complex support settings, ensuring best practices are upheld at all times.
  • Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, promoting safe and supportive living environments.
  • To ensure individual plans reflect NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths, while fostering growth and empowerment.
  • Cultivate the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants - family, carers, friends, etc., by providing expert guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Professionals, to drive exceptional outcomes.
Key Requirements:
  • A current suitability confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at Core or Proficient level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Behaviour Support Professionals, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload.
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by continuous improvement and learning from new ideas and perspectives.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector, driving positive change and making a real difference.
