">Key Responsibilities

The Graduate will be responsible for:

  • Quantifying financial losses suffered by businesses, investigating financial matters, and valuing shares, businesses, financial instruments, and intangible assets;
  • Executing valuation engagements, including company and industry analysis, reviewing accounting data, and performing financial, ratio, and comparable company analysis;
  • Undertaking investigations, including fraud, misconduct, and regulatory compliance engagements, by analyzing financial and non-financial sources, and documenting processes undertaken and findings made;
  • Working with large data sets, including utilizing data analytical tools;
  • Supporting day-to-day engagement execution, including interaction with clients, financiers, auditors, tax advisors, and legal advisors;
  • Assisting with report preparation and presentations;
  • Contributing to company initiatives and team development activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance (other degrees considered);
  • Soft skills, such as empathy and respect: the ability to understand and recognize clients' needs and work well with team members;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex financial information;
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously;
  • This role requires travel to client and FTI offices;
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
