
Graduate Financial Investigator

">Key ResponsibilitiesThe Graduate will be responsible for:
- Quantifying financial losses suffered by businesses, investigating financial matters, and valuing shares, businesses, financial instruments, and intangible assets;
- Executing valuation engagements, including company and industry analysis, reviewing accounting data, and performing financial, ratio, and comparable company analysis;
- Undertaking investigations, including fraud, misconduct, and regulatory compliance engagements, by analyzing financial and non-financial sources, and documenting processes undertaken and findings made;
- Working with large data sets, including utilizing data analytical tools;
- Supporting day-to-day engagement execution, including interaction with clients, financiers, auditors, tax advisors, and legal advisors;
- Assisting with report preparation and presentations;
- Contributing to company initiatives and team development activities.

Requirements- Bachelor/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance (other degrees considered);
- Soft skills, such as empathy and respect: the ability to understand and recognize clients' needs and work well with team members;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex financial information;
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously;
- This role requires travel to client and FTI offices;
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
