About the Role

As a key figure in our mobile maintenance operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our mobile assets. This includes overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment to guarantee safety, availability, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with major contractors, including quarterly reviews and approval of invoices.
  • Monitor and address Key Performance Indicator (KPI) variances, labor overruns, and review contract claims promptly.
  • Ensure best value for money is obtained for non-maintenance responsibilities and allocate costs accurately across relevant departments.
  • Approve variations and review all purchase orders prior to approval.
  • Oversee tire performance, purchase, maintenance, and contractor tire management programs to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular pit tours to assess hauling conditions and collaborate with the Open Pit Superintendent.
  • Monitor critical spare stock levels to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
About You
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry or a related field.
  • Trade qualification with AUR30999 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical or equivalent.
  • Proven knowledge of Open Pit mining equipment maintenance, heavy mobile, and light vehicle fleets.
  • Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class "C" Driver's Licence.
  • Prior experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Pronto, or similar software.
  • Experience with contractual administration.
